In the field of electric power, there are many kinds of thermal insulation refractory materials, such as calcium silicate products, mineral wool, foam asbestos, perlite, aluminum silicate and glass wool. In recent years, the use of calcium silicate products has decreased, and aluminum silicate and glass wool have increased. Especially, the rise of aluminum silicate refractories is more prominent. The reasons are as follows: because the quality of products in the first few years of calcium silicate products has been reduced, cracks have been used in high-temperature parts. In addition, improper construction and excessive surface temperature have greatly affected the use of calcium silicate at high temperature. Therefore, when some design units and power plants and equipment manufacturers choose other materials for insulation design, it is stipulated that when the temperature of the hot surface exceeds 400 ℃, aluminum silicate refractory fiber products should be selected as the internal insulation layer (previously, ceramic fiber was only used in steam turbine cylinder and boiler wall lining in thermal power plant).
