As a lightweight, efficient and heat-insulating refractory, ceramic fiber has many advantages, such as light weight, good temperature and heat insulation performance, convenient construction and no baking of furnace lining. Therefore, it is the most widely used industrial furnace lining material at present. Ceramic fiber has very low thermal conductivity. When used in furnace lining, it can reduce the heat dissipation of furnace wall and achieve good energy-saving effect. At the same time, due to the characteristics of low thermal inertia, the temperature control of heating furnace is more convenient when the furnace temperature changes. Therefore, ceramic fiber (module) is widely used as furnace lining in heating furnace of iron and steel industry.
